Kurs i mantrailing: nu kan du anmäla dig!
Kyno-Logisch organiserar en kurs i mantrailing för såväl nybörjare som erfarna hundförare. Kursen kommer att hållas i Gnarp/Hudiksvall från 27 t.o.m. 29 juni 2014 och ledas av James Dimmock och Allen Russell, båda instruktörer inom The National Police Bloodhound Association i USA (mer om dem kan du läsa längre ner) . Språket för kursen är engelska och alla hundraser är välkomna. Pris: SEK 1500 för hundförare (OBS. max 10 hundekipage)
SEK 500 för deltagare utan hund (’extra’ förare som delar hund med någon annan eller de som helt enkelt vill delta utan hund)
Priset avser enbart kursen, kostnader för eventuellt boende och måltider tillkommer
De som behöver ett boende, rekommenderar vi att kontakta Berggårdens Gästgiveri i Gnarp (www.berggården.se). De erbjuder oss även lunch och buffetmiddag (på fredag och lördag) till ett förmånligt pris. Hör gärna av er till oss om ni vill boka middag hos gästgiveriet, så kan vi informera dem om hur många vi blir och om det finns särskilda önskemål (t.ex. vegetarisk mat).
James Dimmock is a Police Sergeant at the Waterford Connecticut USA Police Department. He has been a police officer since 1993. He served in the patrol division, marine unit and with a Mantrailing Bloodhound. He is presently assigned as the department Training Officer. He is a Firearms instructor, Use of Force Instructor, K-9 Instructor and Sniper.He has been a member of the National Police Bloodhound Association since 1995. He has served on the board of Trustees as a Sgt at Arms, Secretary and trustee since 2000. He has been an Instructor with NPBA for more than 10 years. He represents the NPBA on the federally funded SWGDOG 55 member panel. (scientific work group detector orthogonal guidelines) He resides in Quaker Hill Connecticut. He has 2 children.
Corporal Allen Russell has been in law enforcement for twenty years and involved in k9 for fifteen of those years. Corporal Russell has been a member of the Sheriff'sOffice SWAT team and has been a field training officer. Corporal Russell is currently the Blount County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit supervisor and head trainer for the department . Corporal Russell is currently working his second dual purpose patrol k9 (narcotic detection and criminal apprehension) and his second bloodhound. Corporal Russell is also an instructor and a trustee on the board of directors for the National Police Bloodhound Association.
